These Terms apply to the Siftello mobile app and the Siftello website. "Siftello", "we", and "us" refer to the service made available under that name. Contact us at commonlistapp@gmail.com.

By using Siftello, you agree to these Terms to the extent a binding agreement can be formed under applicable law. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must have the legal capacity and any permissions required to use the app and make purchases. Where needed, a parent or guardian must authorize a minor's use and purchases.

What Siftello does

Siftello is a photo-review tool for compatible iOS and Android devices. It helps you work through accessible photos, keep them, set them aside for later, or add them to a review queue. You can review selected items before confirming deletion. Features and availability may differ by device, operating system, permissions, app version, and purchase entitlement.

The website provides information, support links, and an illustrative demonstration. Its sample photo cards are not connected to your device's photo library.

Your photos and deletion choices

You retain your rights in your photos. Using Siftello does not transfer ownership of them to us. Only manage photos that you own or are authorized to access and change.

Adding a photo to the review queue does not itself delete it. A deletion takes place only after the app's review and confirmation flow and any required operating-system confirmation. Check your selection carefully before confirming. A Keep choice leaves the photo in your library; it does not create a separate backup.

Deletion behavior depends on your device:

  • On iOS, deletion is requested through the Photos system and normally moves photos to Recently Deleted.
  • On Android 11 and later, Siftello requests the system trash operation.
  • On older Android versions, the app may use permanent deletion after confirmation.

The operating system and photo provider control availability, retention, and recovery from Recently Deleted or trash. An in-app undo for a review choice is not a way to reverse a completed permanent deletion. We cannot guarantee that deleted photos can be recovered.

If your photo library synchronizes with a cloud service or other devices, a deletion or favorite change may synchronize there too. Siftello is not a backup or photo-recovery service. Maintain independent backups of important photos before cleanup. We do not promise a particular amount of recovered storage; space may not be released until the photo provider completes deletion or you empty its trash.

Permissions and local progress

Photo permission is necessary for photo-review features. You can limit or revoke it in system settings, but doing so may make some photos or features unavailable. Saved progress and queued choices are stored locally and may be lost if app data is removed, the app is reinstalled, or your device is reset. Restoring a purchase restores eligible access, not your local cleanup history or deleted photos.

Purchases, subscriptions, and trials

The app may offer recurring subscriptions or a one-time lifetime purchase. Only the products and offers displayed in your app and confirmed by your store are available to you. The purchase screen shows the price, billing period, trial details if any, and the access being purchased. Prices, currency, taxes, and eligibility may vary by store and region.

Payments are handled through the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play account. RevenueCat helps verify purchases and provide access. Store terms also apply to the purchase process.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled through the relevant store before its renewal deadline. A free or discounted trial, if offered and if you are eligible, changes to the displayed paid subscription when it ends unless canceled in time. Apple advises canceling a free or discounted trial at least 24 hours before it ends. Follow the deadline shown by your store.

Manage or cancel a subscription through your Apple or Google Play subscription settings. Uninstalling Siftello, clearing app data, turning off analytics, or emailing support does not by itself cancel a store subscription. Access after cancellation follows the store's rules and the purchased period.

  • Manage or cancel an Apple subscription
  • Manage or cancel a Google Play subscription

A lifetime purchase, if offered, is a one-time purchase of the stated entitlement with no recurring subscription charge. It does not promise that every future product or separately priced service will be included. Any description presented at the time of purchase and your mandatory legal rights continue to apply.

Use Restore purchases in the app to recover eligible access associated with the store account used to buy it. Restoration is subject to store records and product availability and does not guarantee transfer between Apple and Google accounts or between platforms.

Refunds, withdrawal rights, and remedies for defective or unavailable digital services are governed by applicable law and the relevant store's policies. These Terms do not impose a blanket no-refund rule. You may request help through the store or contact us with the relevant order information.

Permitted use

Subject to these Terms and any applicable purchase, you may use the app for its intended purpose on devices you are authorized to use. You must not use it unlawfully, access someone else's photos without permission, interfere with the service, distribute malicious code, or bypass purchase controls. Restrictions on copying, modification, or reverse engineering apply only to the extent permitted by law; statutory rights are not excluded.

Siftello's software, branding, website design, and other service materials belong to their respective rights holders. These Terms do not grant ownership of those materials. Third-party software may have its own license notices and terms.

Availability, updates, and support

We may release updates to improve the app, fix defects, maintain compatibility, or respond to security and legal requirements. Keep the app and your operating system reasonably up to date. Some functions depend on services provided by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or your photo provider and can be affected by their availability.

We aim to provide a useful and reliable app, but cannot promise uninterrupted operation, compatibility with every device, or error-free performance. We may change or discontinue features where permitted by law. If a change materially affects paid access, applicable notice requirements and consumer remedies remain available.

For help, contact commonlistapp@gmail.com. Include your device type, app version, and a description of the problem. Avoid sending private photos or sensitive payment information unnecessarily.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains local photo processing, purchase verification, optional Firebase analytics and diagnostics, website hosting, and your choices. Optional analytics and diagnostic sharing are not required to use photo-review features. Device and store providers also have their own privacy terms.

Responsibility and consumer rights

You are responsible for the selections and deletion instructions you intentionally confirm and for protecting photos you wish to keep. This does not remove our responsibility for defects, misleading statements, unlawful conduct, or other matters for which applicable law makes us responsible.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, or removes mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, rights relating to digital content and services, or available legal remedies. No clause requires you to give up access to a competent court or mandatory protections that apply where you live.

Ending use and changes to these Terms

You may stop using Siftello at any time. Cancel any recurring subscription separately through the relevant store if you do not want it to renew. Ending use does not reverse photo changes already applied or automatically erase provider records needed for purchases or legal obligations.

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The effective date above identifies this version. Material changes will be communicated where required, and will not retrospectively remove rights attached to an existing purchase. If a term is unenforceable, the remaining terms apply to the extent permitted by law.
